As we scale our infrastructure and operations, we're looking for a strong DevOps Manager who will help ensure our systems are reliable, scalable, and operate with high performance and customer-centric focus.

Role Summary

As the DevOps Manager, you will work closely with customers and internal teams to understand issues, provide solutions, and ensure smooth operations of our platform. You'll be responsible for deploying and optimising both cloud and on-premises infrastructure (AWS/GCP), streamlining deployments using Docker & Kubernetes, automating workflows, and maintaining system reliability. You will lead a team, drive best practices in DevOps, ensure operational excellence, and collaborate across product, engineering and customer success functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact regularly with customers to understand operational issues, proactively propose solutions, and ensure smooth service delivery and uptime.
• Architect, deploy and optimise cloud (AWS and/or GCP) and on-premises infrastructure to support radiology automation workloads (imaging pipelines, large data volumes, analytics).
• Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines—containerise applications with Docker, orchestrate using Kubernetes, enable fast, reliable release cycles.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration (Infrastructure as Code), deployments, monitoring, alerts, incident response, and recovery.
• Ensure system reliability, performance, scalability and cost-optimisation across the stack.
• Lead a DevOps team (engineers/SREs) — mentor, provide technical direction, set goals, track performance.
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, product and support teams to integrate DevOps practices early, instil "shift-left" culture, and improve time-to-value for customers.
• Define and implement metrics/SLAs/SLIs, monitor systems (logs, metrics, tracing), drive post-incident reviews, continuous improvement.
• Stay up to date with emerging cloud/DevOps technologies and trends; propose and lead initiatives for toolchain upgrades, best practices, standardisation.
• Ensure security, compliance and governance of infrastructure in line with organizational policies and relevant regulations (especially relevant in a healthcare/radiology context).

Key Skills & Qualifications

• 5 – 10 years of experience in DevOps/SRE/infrastructure engineering roles (with some strong track record of ownership).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS and/or GCP (deploying production systems, cost-optimisation, regions/zones, VPCs, networking).
• Strong experience with containerisation and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (deploying, managing clusters, scalability/fail-over).
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent).
• Experience designing, implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines and release workflows.
• Good understanding of monitoring/observability tools and practices (metrics, logs, tracing, alerting).
• Excellent troubleshooting, performance-tuning and incident-management skills.
• Strong communication and customer-interaction skills (able to work with non-technical stakeholders, understand their issues, present solutions).
• Leadership ability: able to mentor, lead a team, drive culture of reliability and automation.
• Experience in a healthcare technology, radiology, imaging, or other high-availability domain is a plus (but not mandatory).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
