Job Title: Lead MEP Design, CSD

Location: Jaipur

Purpose

We are looking for a highly experienced Lead MEP (Design) (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) in the Real Estate industry to join our team at Adani. As the Lead MEP Design, you will be responsible for overseeing the MEP activities for mixed-use and hospitality projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in MEP systems Design, extensive experience in the real estate sector, and a strong understanding of sustainability and energy efficiency. Experience

• 18-21 years of experience in the Real Estate industry Hotels, Retails and commercial buildings.
• Proven track record of successfully leading MEP Design Team for mixed-use and hospitality developments projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in implementing sustainable MEP solutions

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the MEP Design team in planning, coordinating, and designing MEP activities for mixed-use and hospitality projects.
• Oversee the complete design of MEP systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
• Collaborate with principal architects, PMC & Consultant engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP design systems seamlessly into the overall project design.
• Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability in MEP systems.
• Manage & Support MEP budgeting, cost estimation, and procurement activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to ensure the highest standards of workmanship as per final design approval.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the MEP execution team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations related to MEP design systems and incorporate best practices into project designs.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders' teams to ensure timely delivery and successful completion of MEP design systems.
• Ability to lead a design and independently manage design consultants. Must have delivered MEP design/ design management for Hospitality led mixed use development, retail, office etc. With at least one full cycle of experience - Concept till site completion.
• Experience of coordination with senior management, development authorities, govt agencies and similar stakeholders Must have exhibited design and design coordination skills with various design stakeholders like structure, landscape, traffic, MEP etc
• Strong project management skills. A thorough understanding of agreed project outputs, resource management, specific team responsibilities, tracking issues and risks, internal and external communication and escalation.

Education Qualification

• B. Tech in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Certification Required

• Professional certification in MEP systems or related field (preferred)

• Thorough understanding of relevant building codes, standards, and regulations
• Experience in cost estimation, budgeting, and procurement for MEP systems

Non-Negotiable Skills

• MEP Design Lead experience in mixed-use development and hospitality projects
• Demonstrated expertise in sustainable MEP design solutions
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Sketch Up, MS office and know-how of Revit would be essential.
