Role Overview

The Quantity Surveyor cum Planner will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, quantity surveying, billing, and cost control for high-rise building projects executed using Mivan formwork technology. The role requires close coordination with site, Client , Contractor execution, and management teams to ensure timely project delivery within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, RA bills, final bills, and subcontractor bills.

Handle contractor billing, variations, extra items, and rate analysis as per contract conditions.

Monitor project costs, budget vs actual, cash flow, Pert chart of Budget and material reconciliation.

Develop baseline project schedules using MS Project / Primavera P6.

Prepare weekly, monthly, and look-ahead programs for Mivan construction cycles.

Track planned vs actual progress, identify delays, and support recovery planning.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress and cost reports.

Coordinate with site execution, QS, and planning teams for progress and billing alignment.

Assist in claims, delay analysis, and EOT documentation.

Maintain complete commercial, planning, and reporting documentation.

Skills & Competencies

Strong experience in high-rise building construction using Mivan technology.

Proficient in MS Project or Primavera P6.

Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel.

Working knowledge of AutoCAD for quantity extraction.

Good understanding of contracts, billing procedures, and cost control.

Strong coordination, analytical, and reporting skills.

Job Title: QC Engineer Building Construction (Mivan Shuttering)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QC Engineer with strong exposure to Mivan shuttering and RCC works for high-rise building projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality control at site in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and monitor Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC) activities at site

Ensure quality execution of Mivan shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, and finishing works

Check formwork alignment, level, plumb, joint tightness, and release agents before concreting

Inspect reinforcement works as per approved BBS and drawings

Monitor concrete pouring, compaction, curing, and cube testing

Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and consultants for quality-related issues

Prepare and maintain ITPs, checklists, MIRs, WIRs, cube test reports, and quality documentation

Conduct pre-pour and post-pour inspections

Ensure compliance with IS codes, project specifications, and safety standards

Required Skills & Knowledge

Strong experience in Mivan aluminium formwork system

Good knowledge of RCC works, finishing tolerances, and concrete technology

Familiar with IS codes, quality procedures, and inspection processes

Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings

Good documentation and reporting skills

Coordination and communication skills

Qualification

B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Experience Requirement

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in building construction projects

Mandatory hands-on experience with Mivan shuttering system
