Responsibilities:

  * Jira & Confluence Administration: Manage all aspects of our Jira Software and Confluence instances, including user management, permissions, security, and system configuration.

  • Configuration & Customization: Configure and customize Jira projects, workflows, issue types, fields, screens, and notifications to meet evolving business needs.
  • Plugin Management: Evaluate, install, configure, and maintain Jira plugins to extend functionality and improve user experience.
  • Workflow Design & Implementation: Design, build, and optimize Jira workflows to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Data Integrity & Management: Ensure data integrity through regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and data cleansing activities.
  • User Support & Training: Provide technical support and training to Jira users, resolving issues and answering questions.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Generate reports and dashboards to track Jira usage, identify trends, and measure performance.
  • Integration: Manage integrations between Jira and other systems (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, CRM, etc.).
  • Performance Monitoring & Tuning: Monitor Jira performance and identify areas for optimization.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of Jira configurations and processes.
  • Staying Current: Remain up-to-date with the latest Atlassian features, updates, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. However, if you possess a deep and thorough understanding of Jira - truly knowing it inside and out and are a graduate or not, we strongly encourage you to apply, regardless of your specific degree field.

  • Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience administering and configuring Jira Software and Confluence.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Expert knowledge of Jira Software and Confluence administration.

  • Strong understanding of Jira workflows, issue types, and permissions.
  • Experience with Jira plugins (e.g., ScriptRunner, Jira Service Management).
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Python) is a plus.
  • Experience with Atlassian Cloud and Data Center deployments.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is preferred.
