Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled
SAP ABAP Developer
with hands-on experience in the
RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP)
to design, develop, and deploy cloud-ready Fiori and OData-based applications. You will work closely with functional consultants, UI/UX designers, and DevOps teams to build modern, scalable, and maintainable SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop applications using
    SAP ABAP RAP
    in S/4HANA or SAP BTP.
  • Create and extend
    CDS views
    ,
    behavior definitions/implementations
    , and
    service definitions/bindings
    .
  • Develop and expose
    OData V4 services
    for Fiori and external consumption.
  • Implement business logic using
    managed or unmanaged RAP scenarios
    .
  • Perform code reviews and optimize application performance.
  • Work with
    Fiori Elements
    and UI annotations for UI generation.
  • Debug and troubleshoot application and service issues.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with
    SAP Clean Core
    and
    Cloud-ready development
    standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in
    SAP ABAP development
    .
  • 1+ years hands-on experience with
    RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
    .
  • Proficiency in:
  • Core ABAP
    (OOABAP, ALV, BAPIs, BADIs)
  • CDS Views & Annotations
  • Behavior Definitions & Implementations
  • Service Definition & Service Binding
  • OData V4
  • Knowledge of
    Fiori Elements
    ,
    UI annotations
    , and
    metadata-driven UIs
    .
  • Familiarity with
    Eclipse-based ABAP Development Tools (ADT)
    .
  • Experience with
    S/4HANA
    or
    SAP BTP ABAP Environment
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    RESTful APIs
    ,
    clean code
    , and
    modular design
    .

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with
    SAP BTP
    ,
    Steampunk
    , or
    CAP
    .
  • Knowledge of
    SAP Event Mesh
    ,
    Workflow
    , or
    BRF+
    .
  • Exposure to
    CI/CD pipelines
    ,
    Git
    , or
    ATC checks
    in SAP development.
  • Knowledge of
    Fiori/UI5
    for custom front-end enhancements (not mandatory).

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • SAP certifications in
    ABAP Development
    ,
    RAP
    , or
    S/4HANA
    are a plus.
