Job Title: SAP ABAP Consultant / Senior SAP ABAP DeveloperExperience Required: 4 – 8 YearsJob Summary:We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with a strong technical background in ABAP development, S/4HANA implementation, and modern ABAP concepts such as CDS Views, OData Services, and AMDPs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting SAP custom solutions, integrations, and enhancements to meet business requirements.Key Responsibilities:Design & DevelopmentDevelop, test, and deploy custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and conversions (RICEF objects).Implement Core Data Services (CDS) Views, OData services, and Fiori-related back-end development.Work on Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP), Enhancement Framework (BADI/BAPI/User Exits), and Workflow.Develop and maintain interfaces using IDocs, ALE, RFC, and Web Services.S/4HANA & Modern ABAPUtilize HANA-specific programming techniques (e.g., AMDPs, CDS Annotations, and performance optimization).Build Fiori-compatible services using OData and CDS-based consumption views.Support S/4HANA migration or greenfield implementation projects.Implementation & SupportParticipate in end-to-end SAP implementation projects — from requirements gathering to post-go-live support.Collaborate with functional teams (MM, SD, FI, PP, HR, etc.) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Perform code reviews, unit testing, and ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.Documentation & CollaborationPrepare technical design documents (TDDs) and unit test scripts.Work closely with functional consultants, Basis, and security teams for smooth deployment and integration.Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to junior developers.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.4–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.Strong proficiency in:Classical & Object-Oriented ABAPReports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms (SmartForms / Adobe Forms), ConversionsCDS Views, AMDPs, and OData servicesPerformance tuning and SQL trace analysisExperience in at least one full-cycle SAP implementation (ECC or S/4HANA).Working knowledge of Fiori/UI5 integration is highly desirable.Understanding of SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI/CO, or PP from a technical perspective.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.Ready to relocate to Hyderabad - Onsite deploymentClient Location is Somajiguda (Hyderabad)Should possess atleast 5 plus yearsShould possess minimum 3 to 4 implementation experienceShould have knowledge of Odata, CDS viewsShould have exposure on atleast 2 modules from the above list.Work days: Monday to Friday
