Role Overview
We are seeking a
proactive and well-networked Liaison & Finance Officer
who will play a key role in driving the company's growth by:
- Managing
government subsidies, tenders, and compliance - Facilitating project financing & banking relationships
- Acting as the link between the company, government agencies, and financial institutions
This role requires a mix of
policy understanding, financial acumen, and strong networking skills
to ensure smooth execution of projects and tender participation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Subsidy & Scheme Management
- Track and manage
Central & State Solar Subsidy Schemes
(KUSUM, MNRE programs, State DISCOM subsidies). - Guide clients (farmers, institutions, businesses) through the subsidy application process.
- Coordinate with nodal agencies for approvals and timely disbursal of funds.
- Maintain
records of subsidy applications and disbursements
.
2. Tender & Bidding Coordination
- Monitor portals such as
GeM, SECI, NTPC, State Energy Departments, DISCOMs
for solar-related tenders. - Evaluate eligibility, prepare documentation, and file bids in coordination with EPC and legal teams.
- Keep a
database of tenders
, submissions, and outcomes for future reference. - Liaise with officials to clarify tender requirements and increase success chances.
3. Finance & Banking Facilitation
- Build and maintain relationships with
banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions
for project financing. - Assist clients with
loan applications, DPR (Detailed Project Reports), and credit documentation
. - Coordinate with financial partners for
green finance products, leasing, and subsidy-linked loans
. - Ensure smooth disbursal of loans for both retail and institutional clients.
4. Government Liaison & Policy Tracking
- Act as the point of contact with
state nodal agencies (e.g., MEDA, TEDA, RREC)
and other government departments. - Track
policy updates, regulatory changes, and new opportunities
. - Represent the company in meetings with officials, agencies, and energy-related forums.
5. Compliance & Record-Keeping
- Maintain proper records of subsidies, tenders, and financing deals.
- Ensure compliance with
MNRE guidelines, ALMM requirements, ISO norms, and government standards
. - Support audit and reporting processes related to government incentives and tenders.
Candidate Profile
Education
- Graduate/Postgraduate in
Commerce, Finance, Public Policy, or Energy Management
. - MBA (Finance/Operations) or CA Inter will be a plus.
Experience
- 3–7 years
experience in
government liaison, subsidy handling, or finance coordination
. - Prior exposure to
renewable energy/solar sector, EPC, or infra projects
is strongly preferred. - Experience in
tender filing and banking coordination
is highly desirable.
Skills Required
- Strong understanding of
government processes & subsidy schemes
. - Knowledge of
tendering process and EPC project financing
. - Excellent
communication & networking skills
with officials and bankers. - Proficiency in
MS Office, tender portals, and documentation tools
. - High integrity and ability to maintain confidential financial/government information.
