SAP IS Telecommunications – Telecommunication operators Experts

The Opportunity:
Pentoz is seeking an experienced SAP IS Telecommunications Consultant to support digital transformation initiatives for telecom operators. In this remote role, you will leverage your industry expertise and SAP solution knowledge to design, implement, and optimize telecom-specific processes using the SAP IS-T (Industry Solution for Telecommunications) suite.

You will work closely with clients to modernize their billing, customer care, order management, and revenue assurance systems, aligning technology with rapidly evolving telecom business models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end implementation and configuration of SAP IS-T components such as Convergent Charging, Convergent Invoicing, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA)
• Analyze business requirements related to telecom services, including prepaid/postpaid billing, subscription management, product catalog, and partner settlements
• Integrate SAP IS-T with core ERP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD), middleware, and external OSS/BSS systems
• Support migration to S/4HANA and implement solutions that are scalable and cloud-ready
• Develop functional specifications, system documentation, test scripts, and training materials
• Collaborate with business process owners, developers, and technical architects for solution delivery
• Provide post-go-live support and optimize existing SAP IS-T environments
• Participate in system audits, performance tuning, and compliance checks
• Advise clients on best practices, industry trends, and SAP roadmap strategies for telecom

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with SAP IS-T (Industry Solution for Telecommunications) in a consulting or enterprise environment
• Deep understanding of telecom-specific processes including charging, invoicing, billing, account management, and revenue recognition
• Experience with FI-CA, CRM, SD, and/or BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management)
• Strong understanding of integration points with middleware (e.g., PI/PO, CPI), telecom OSS/BSS systems, and data migration tools
• Proven track record of delivering SAP IS-T projects in telco or media environments
• Excellent communication, documentation, and client engagement skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP certification in IS-T or BRIM-related modules
• Experience with Convergent Charging (SAP CC), Convergent Mediation, or Subscription Billing
• Hands-on knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and Fiori apps in the telecom context
• Familiarity with 5G, IoT, digital service monetization, or partner settlement models
• Background in regulatory compliance (e.g., TRAI, FCC) and telecom SLA management
