Assistant Professor – Data Science & Technology

About the Role:
SDBI is seeking a passionate and motivated Assistant Professor to support our Data Science and Technology programs. The role is ideal for early-career educators or industry professionals looking to transition into academics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct doubt-solving sessions and bridge courses to strengthen foundational knowledge in tech, data science, and statistics.
- Deliver practical sessions and hands-on learning experiences.
- Assist senior faculty in lecture planning and classroom execution.
- Prepare study material, notes, assignments, and case studies to enhance student learning.
- Support the evaluation process through assessment design, grading, and feedback.
Preferred Profile:
- 1–2 years of academic or industry experience in Data Science, Technology, or Statistics.
- Strong understanding of foundational concepts in programming, data analysis, and quantitative reasoning.
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
- A passion for teaching and helping students succeed.
