Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic
Travel Agent Sales Executive
who can combine strong sales skills with expert travel consultancy. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business, advising clients on the best travel options, and delivering seamless booking experiences. This role requires a balance of
sales performance
and
customer service excellence
, ensuring clients receive both the right travel solutions and exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell domestic & international holiday packages, tours, flights, hotels, cruises, and travel insurance.
- Generate leads through calls, walk-ins, social media, and referrals.
- Understand customer requirements and prepare customized travel itineraries.
- Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings while meeting monthly sales targets.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with individual and corporate clients.
- Negotiate and coordinate with airlines, hotels, and suppliers to secure the best deals.
- Ensure smooth processing of bookings, documentation, visas, and payments.
- Stay updated on travel trends, destinations, and offers to provide accurate information.
- Handle post-sales service, including resolving customer queries and complaints.
- Maintain proper sales records and prepare periodic reports for management.
Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 1–3 years' experience in travel sales or as a travel consultant/agent.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and sales closing skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) is an advantage.
- Passion for travel and excellent customer service attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets.
