Host/Hostess

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Welcome & First Impressions: Create a warm and inviting atmosphere for arriving guests.

Reservations & Seating: Manage reservations, oversee waitlists, and efficiently assign seating to optimize guest flow.

Communication: Answer phones, address guest inquiries, and accurately provide wait time estimates.

Coordination: Liaise with service staff (servers, bartenders) to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.

Guest Satisfaction: Handle guest feedback and resolve issues with professionalism and poise.

Environment Maintenance: Keep the front-of-house, reception area, and lounge seating spotless and organized.

Support: Step in to support servers and other staff as needed.

Menu & Specials: Provide menus, offer recommendations, and answer questions about menu items and specials.

Required Skills & Qualities

Customer Service: Possess excellent customer service skills and a friendly, personable demeanor.

Communication: Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.

Organization: Ability to manage reservations and seating effectively.

Interpersonal Skills: An outgoing personality and ability to make guests feel comfortable.

Problem-Solving: Good decision-making skills to handle guest issues promptly.

Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.

Knowledge: Familiarity with hospitality industry protocols, health, and safety guidelines.

Experience & Education

A high school education is typically required.

Previous experience in a customer service role, such as a hostess or server, is beneficial.

Experience in the food or hospitality industry can be advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 56 per week
