Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Quality Assurance Manager located in Chennai. The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes to ensure product standards are met. Day-to-day tasks include conducting product inspections, developing QA strategies, coordinating with production teams, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The role also involves leading and training the QA team, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and reporting on QA metrics to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Experience in developing and implementing quality assurance strategies and procedures
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (IATF 16949, ISO 14001, OHSAS)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proficiency in using QA tools and software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and reporting skills
  • Ability to work on-site in Chennai
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
  • Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is preferred
