Role & responsibilities

Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO), SD (Sales and Distribution) modules.

  • SAP Roll out in new business and new functionalities implementation
  • Understanding Business Requirements
  • Interacting with stakeholders to gather financial process requirements.
  • Documenting current processes and designing optimized solutions.
  • Creating functional specifications for ABAP development
  • Configuration of SAP FICO & SD Module
  • Setting up company codes, fiscal years, and chart of accounts.
  • Configuring General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting (AA).
  • Defining tax procedures, payment terms, and automatic account determination.
  • Testing & Validation
  • Conducting Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Identifying and resolving configuration or data-related issues.
  • End-User Training & Documentation
  • Preparing user manuals and training documents.
  • Conducting training sessions for finance teams and stakeholders.
  • Post implementation Support & Maintenance
  • Resolving tickets raised by end-users.
  • Help in performing system upgrades or patch implementations.
  • Integration with Other SAP Modules
  • Ensuring smooth data flow between SAP FICO and other modules like MM (Material Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), and HCM (Human Capital Management).
  • Continuous Improvement & Optimization
  • Suggesting system enhancements to improve financial reporting and control.
  • Support on Operational MIS and Financial MIS Automation
