We are hiring Spotfire Technical Lead for one of our client MNCs.

Position: Spotfire Technical Lead

Experience: 6-12 years (with 2 brackets: 6-9 years, 9-12 years)

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid, shortlisted candidates must work onsite at the client location)

Joining Timeline: Immediate (within 1 week)

Key Skills:

• Mandatory: Strong expertise in TIBCO Spotfire, advanced visualizations, dashboards, and data analytics.
• Preferred: IronPython knowledge (good to have).
• Other Skills: DevOps platforms (GitLab, Azure DevOps), technical writing, and knowledge of advanced analytics (AI/ML, cloud computing, data science).

Responsibilities:

• Lead Spotfire development and manage the team.
• Design and implement advanced Spotfire solutions.
• Collaborate on platform architecture and integrations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and Spotfire features.

 RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage a team of Spotfire professionals, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support.
• Design and develop advanced visualizations, dashboards, and reports using TIBCO Spotfire.
• Manage Spotfire's custom software extensions - maintain existing extensions, identify opportunities for new extensions, pursue excellence in software development activities.
• Collaborate and pursue leadership opportunities on key architecture initiatives related to Spotfire, including server management and hosting, identity management, information security and infrastructure engineering.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs for data analysis and visualization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Spotfire with other systems and tools as needed.
• Translate complex data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations through Spotfire visualizations.
• Build and maintain data models and data connections within Spotfire to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is presented.
• Acquire knowledge and develop expertise across all aspects of managing the Spotfire platform, including report authoring, advanced analytics, platform upgrades, and supporting teams with their analytics initiatives.
• Develop and pursue opportunities in advanced areas of analytics and technology, including business intelligence, machine learning and AI, cloud computing, data science and automation.
• Collaborate, communicate and develop partnerships with both IT teams and business customers, in pursuit of innovative solutions to challenging technology and analytics problems. 
• Conduct data analysis and mining to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Provide expertise and guidance on best practices for data visualization, analytics, and reporting using Spotfire.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Spotfire features, functionalities, and industry trends to continuously enhance data visualization capabilities.
• Knowledge of analytics technologies and platforms, such as Spotfire, Power BI, Data Science, AI/ML, Big Data
• Maintain and enhance the DevOps processes that support the software development activities, in areas including automated testing and deployment, release management, monitoring and troubleshooting.

 REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

The ideal candidate would have experience in a wide variety of technologies and the desire to learn many more. We acknowledge that few candidates will have experience of all these technologies, but would expect deep domain knowledge to be demonstrated across multiple areas. The position itself requires exposure to all of the below:

 Critical Skills

• Minimum of 10 years experience in software development, including leadership roles
• Proven experience in a leadership or lead role, overseeing Spotfire projects and teams.
• Strong expertise in developing complex visualizations, dashboards, and reports using Spotfire.
• In-depth understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
• Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
• DevOps platforms - familiarity with one or more of GitLab, Gitlab, Azure DevOps
• Technical writing - ability to produce high-quality technical documentation
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and stakeholders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
