Assistant Manager Robotics Simulation & Automation

Role Overview:

Seeking an Assistant Manager – Robotics Simulation & Automation to lead robotic simulation, automation development, and validation for manufacturing operations (material handling, trimming, polishing, glazing, etc.). The role involves end-to-end automation project execution using Fanuc Roboguide, EOAT design, and process optimization across global plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and validate robotic automation concepts using Fanuc Roboguide.
  • Design EOATs using Creo / SolidWorks for handling and manipulation.
  • Create Offline Programs (OLP) and validate robotic paths and cycle times.
  • Lead automation projects for global locations ensuring timely execution.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Controls teams for smooth deployment.
  • Conduct cycle time studies, process improvements, and technical reporting.
  • Support integration with PLC systems and surface finishing automation.
  • Prepare automation dashboards and performance reports using Excel / Power BI.

Required Experience:

  • 8–12 years in robotics simulation, OLP, and automation engineering.
  • Proficiency in Fanuc Roboguide (mandatory).
  • Expertise in robotic programming, simulation, and validation.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to Fanuc / KUKA robots.
  • Knowledge of PLC integration, industrial automation, and surface finishing.
  • Familiarity with Kitchen & Bath manufacturing processes.

Education:

B.E. / M.E. in Mechanical, Industrial, Robotics, or Automation Engineering.

Work Mode:
