About the Role

Were looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our design and projects team at Specsmakers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in 2D space planning, 3D modelling, and interior detailing, with strong technical knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray, and MEP coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop 2D layout plans and detailed working drawings for new stores, renovations, and retail spaces.
  • Create 3D models and visualizations to communicate design concepts effectively.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and vendors to ensure design feasibility and timely execution.
  • Coordinate MEP layouts and ensure integration with design plans.
  • Prepare mood boards, material selections, and presentation drawings for management approval.
  • Conduct site visits for measurements, supervision, and design validation.
  • Maintain project documentation, BOQs, and drawing records.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Interior Design / Architecture or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in interior or retail design projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray, and MS Office; knowledge of Photoshop or Revit is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of space planning, materials, lighting, and MEP coordination.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and deliver within deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
