Role & responsibilities

General Job Responsibility

  • Managing the overall technical function
  • Property assessment and valuation for lending
  • Implementation of policies, procedures, and technical underwriting guideline
  • Formulate, review and implement the Technical Policy of Hinduja Housing Finance

appropriate for the market segment (working with primarily undocumented

income/Technical profiles) sought to be served

  • Maintenance of TAT, Compliance, policies and procedures as per NHB guidance

Principal Accountabilities

  • Establish and Manage the Technical function using the principle of

de-centralized assessment and centralized decision

  • Responsible for ensuring sensible technical norms resulting in a

high-quality of portfolio

  • Ensuring compliance with technical process manual and norms

Periodic review and Modification of technical process and

procedure

  • Review and updating builder rating across location
  • Periodic review of APF
  • Periodic Review of Zone Base Master
  • Tracking and monitoring of all technical OTC/PDD
  • Refer exceptional cases for opinion/decision to Head

Technical, wherever required

  • Empanelment, Monitoring and review performance/reports of

technical consultant

  • To recommend a list of approved, negative and caution areas to

Corporate Office

  • Control over the Regional/Cluster-MIS
  • Monitor and ensure the Technical TAT
  • Maintenance of various reports, MIS and Database
  • Approval/Appraisal of projects and property
  • Scrutiny of document and preparation of Technical Reports
  • Collection of information relating to Project and Builders
  • Collection and updating project data of zones and builder status
  • To monitor penetration for various project
  • To ensure due diligence during approval and keep a check on

frauds relating to Property

  • Adherence to TAT
  • Tracking and Collection of Technical OTC/PDD
  • Timely resolving of audit queries
  • Maintain technical MIS and send to regional technical

Preferred candidate profile

15 years of experience in Property Technical Assessment,

Technical Operations and Technical underwriting


• Preference will be given to Housing Finance, Banking or NBFC

candidates only
