Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and hardworking Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. The Commis Chef supports senior chefs in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food. This is an entry-level role ideal for someone looking to build a career in professional cooking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes under the supervision of senior chefs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation in compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Measure, weigh, and prepare ingredients accurately.
- Ensure food is stored and labeled properly.
- Help with stock rotation and inventory.
- Follow all kitchen procedures and recipes accurately.
- Clean kitchen equipment and assist with dishwashing as needed.
- Support other team members during busy periods.
Qualifications:
- Basic culinary training or hospitality background preferred.
- 0–2 years of kitchen experience.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of basic food hygiene and safety practices.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹9, ₹20,000.00 per month
