Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1) Implementations & Enhancements

  • Run workshops, document requirements & fitgap; produce solution designs and configuration workbooks.
  • Configure Fusion SCM modules, approval rules (BPM), document styles, and extensions where appropriate.
  • Build end-to-end designs including P2P (RequisitionPOReceiptInvoice hand-off) and O2C (ItemOrderShipInvoice hand-off).
  • Own CRPs/SIT/UAT, training materials, user adoption, and cutover/hypercare.
  • Author deliverables (requirements, functional design, configuration/BR100-style setup docs, test scripts, cutover plans).

2) Support & Quarterly Updates

  • L2/L3 incident/problem management with root cause analysis; drive SRs with Oracle.
  • Regression test & implement quarterly updates (opt-in features), impact analysis, and release notes for business.
  • Own data fixes, small enhancements, and performance troubleshooting.
  • Maintain knowledge base, SOPs, and KT to operations.

3) Migrations (EBS Fusion and tenant-to-tenant)

  • Lead object mapping, data cleansing, and FBDI/ADFdi-based conversions (Suppliers, Items/Structures, Catalogs, On-hand, Price Lists, Open POs/SOs, BOM/Routings, Cost elements).
  • Sequence loads; reconcile counts; design cutover & fallback; execute mock runs with sign-offs.
  • Rationalize legacy RICEW scope; propose standardization vs extensions.
  • Plan and validate co-existence (if phased) and decommission steps.

4) Integrations & Reporting (techno-functional)

  • Design/validate integrations with WMS/3PL, finance/AP, tax/e-invoicing, logistics, and legacy ERPs via Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, file drops, or scheduled processes.
  • Build reports/dashboards using OTBI and BI Publisher; create burst distributions and schedules.
  • Configure security (custom job/duty roles, data security), Sandboxes, Page Composer.
  • Use SQL (and basic PL/SQL) for triage; leverage Postman/Swagger for API tests.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5–12+ years total; 3–8+ years on Fusion SCM with at least 2 end-to-end implementations and one migration (EBSFusion or equivalent).
  • Solid hands-on in the core modules listed, BPM approvals, FBDI/ADFdi, OTBI/BIP, REST/SOAP; strong process knowledge in P2P & O2C.
  • Prior EBS SCM exposure (PO, iProc, INV, OM, BOM/WIP) is a strong plus.
  • Bachelor's in Engineering/IT/Business (or equivalent).
  • Oracle Cloud certifications in SCM are a plus.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent client-facing communication, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management.
  • Ownership mindset, ability to work independently across offshore/onsite models, and mentor juniors.

Deliverables (indicative)

  • Requirements & Fit–Gap docs, Solution Design, Config workbooks, Test scripts & traceability, Data migration plan & reconciliation logs, Integration design & mappings, Security matrix, Cutover plan, Hypercare runbook, SOPs.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with OIC adapters, PIM extensibility (Application Composer), and light VBCS UI extensions.
  • E-invoicing/Government integrations (e.g., ZATCA or similar).
  • Exposure to Planning/Manufacturing/Maintenance/GOP.
