Critical Competencies

1.Knowledge of  Engine Assembly & testing  machines,
2.Basics of PLCs, SCADA, and HMI systems (Siemens, Mistubushi ,Allen Bradley).
3.Engine test bed components: dynamometers, fuel measurement systems, emission analyzers.
4.Calibration and maintenance of test bench sensors and instruments.
5.Knowledge of AVL, Blowby meter other testing equipment.
6.Understanding CAN, LIN, Modbus, or other industrial communication protocols
.
Software & Diagnostics
Siemens PLC all Softwares-e.g TI portal, DC tool softwares-IR,Desoutter. Venus
Especially in test automation-Orbit E, ECU testing and diagnostics 
Data logging,DRONA,Torque tracebility  

Especially in Assembly -All type of DC tools(IR,DESORTER VENUS multitorquing machines) & multi torquing machines

1.Attend & resolve the different types of breakdowns on Electricals & Electronics of  Manufacturing Equipment's through systematic approach to ensure non-repetition of breakdowns.( Diagonostic skills)
 Scheduling & execution of Preventive Maintenance _TBM, CBM, Online PM.
2. Ensure Equipment Software backups at regular interval & keep records of any modifications.
3.Process parameter monitoring & controlling.
4. Co-ordination with maintenance team as well as the service engineers for equipment service work, AMC etc. 
5. Co-ordination with Production, Plant Engineering & other stake holders for major improvements, process change, new model/variant adaptation & new practices. 
6.Equipment safety compliance to be audited & maintained periodically.
7. Maintenance record updating & MP sheets/Design improvement to be shared.
8. Subordinates Training & development.

Initiating & Driving Cost Reduction Initiatives
Preparing & Maintaining Monthly MIS
New Machine installation & commissioning
CBM & TBM methodology for improving machine availability
Implementing Low cost automation for improving productivity
Initiatives & improvements to have better machine availability 
Adherence of TPM methodology
Corrective & Preventive Maintenance
MFMEA for machine cause identification & rectification
Breakdown reduction approach by using ECRS methodology
Quality Concerns resolution by QC Story methodology
Actively participating in QCRT committee
Inspire, lead and ensure healthy relation at all times with customer, supplier and employees within and outside department
To have better employee engagement in the department for fetching optimum results
Grooming & Enhancing Technical & function skills of officer through training
ABC analysis of spares and machines
Spare parts planning & procurement
Budget planning (Capital as well as Revenue) and execution
Responsible  for keeping budget under control
Resource planning for the department

Education Qualification

BE/Btech

General Experience

3- 8 years
