About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Consultant to lead project delivery across strategy consulting and market research engagements. The role demands strong project management, analytical thinking, and people leadership skills. You will oversee teams of Associate Consultants, Senior Research Analysts, and Analysts, ensuring that client objectives are met through high-quality insights and strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of consulting and market research projects - from proposal development, scoping, and design to execution and final presentation.
  • Translate client business questions into structured research frameworks, ensuring clarity in objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Design and oversee primary research programs (quantitative surveys, qualitative interviews, focus group discussions) and secondary research studies to generate actionable insights.
  • Develop project work plans, manage budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure timely delivery with high-quality outputs.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet the firm's standards of analytical depth, accuracy, and storytelling.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building trusted advisory relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Understand client challenges, identify opportunities, and shape solutions aligned with their strategic goals.
  • Present insights and recommendations through compelling presentations and discussions with client leadership.
  • Anticipate client needs, manage expectations proactively, and ensure satisfaction at every stage of engagement.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage and mentor a team of Associate Consultants, Senior Research Analysts, and Analysts, providing clear direction and constructive feedback.
  • Review team deliverables, ensuring analytical rigor and alignment with client objectives.
  • Foster a culture of curiosity, ownership, and excellence within the team.
  • Support capability building by sharing best practices and coaching team members on consulting frameworks, research techniques, and client communication.

Research Design & Analysis

  • Drive the design of surveys, discussion guides, and analytical models to capture deep consumer, market, and competitive insights.
  • Ensure effective data analysis and synthesis - translating findings into clear narratives and business implications.
  • Oversee use of analytics and visualization tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) to bring insights to life.
  • Integrate multiple data sources (primary, secondary, and financial) into cohesive strategic recommendations.

Strategic Insights & Thought Leadership

  • Connect data-driven insights to broader market and business trends to provide forward-looking recommendations.
  • Support the leadership team in developing frameworks, methodologies, and case studies that strengthen the firm's thought leadership positioning.
  • Contribute to whitepapers, webinars, and roundtables that highlight the firm's expertise across industries.

Business Development Support

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop project proposals, RFP responses, and pitch presentations.
  • Identify potential client opportunities and contribute to growing existing relationships.
  • Provide domain and research expertise in client meetings and business discussions.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong client-facing and interpersonal skills; ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical thinking with proficiency in research methodologies and tools.
  • Hands-on experience with market research techniques (quantitative, qualitative, or both).
  • High proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and data visualization tools.
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to handle pressure, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple deadlines.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 6+ years in B2B strategy consulting and market research
  • Proven end-to-end project delivery (proposal to presentation)
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams (Associate Consultants, Senior Research Analysts, Analysts
  • Multi-industry exposure (consumer, B2B, competitive intelligence)
  • History of client-facing advisory with B2B senior stakeholders
  • Contribution to business development (proposals, RFPs, pitches)
