Job Description: Quality Control Officer

Position Title: Quality Control Officer
Location: Ahmedabad 
Department: Quality Assurance / Production
Reports To: Quality Manager / Plant Manager
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and non-routine inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.

  • Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and internal quality standards.

  • Document test results accurately and maintain quality records.

  • Investigate and report any deviations or non-conformances.

  • Coordinate with the production team to resolve quality-related issues.

  • Support validation and calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment.

  • Participate in internal audits and assist in external inspections.

  • Review and update SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).

  • Implement quality improvement initiatives and root cause analysis (RCA).

  • Report quality trends and provide recommendations to management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacy, or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in quality control or a similar role in manufacturing or pharmaceuticals.

  • Knowledge of GMP, ISO 9001, and quality testing procedures.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and laboratory software.
