Job Description – QC Engineer

Position: Quality Control (QC) Engineer
Location: [Ahmedabad]
Department: Quality / Engineering
Reports to: Quality Manager / Production Head

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-process and final inspection of products or components.

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and testing protocols.

  • Identify defects and coordinate with production teams for corrective actions.

  • Maintain accurate inspection and test reports.

  • Ensure compliance with ISO and other industry standards.

  • Monitor equipment calibration and inspection tools.

  • Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.

  • Liaise with suppliers and customers regarding quality concerns.

  • Support audits and internal quality reviews.

  • Train production staff on quality standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field.

  • 2–5 years of experience in quality control or assurance.

  • Knowledge of QA/QC tools like 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, etc.

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or similar standards.

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Proficient in MS Office and quality software tools.
