Roles and Responsibilities:-

  • Analyze business requirements and design SAP PP solutions.
  • Configure and customize SAP PP module to support production planning and execution processes.
  • Integrate SAP PP with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, WM, and QM.
  • Support end-to-end production processes including demand management, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), capacity planning, shop floor control, and production order management.
  • Provide day-to-day support for SAP PP users and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for SAP implementation, rollout, and support projects.
  • Develop functional specifications for ABAP developments, reports, and enhancements.
  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Deliver end-user training and prepare documentation.

Required Skills & Experience;-

  • Bachelors degree in engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in SAP PP configuration and support (customize as per need).

  • Hands-on experience in the following SAP PP submodules/processes:

  • Demand Management

  • Material Requirement Planning (MRP)
  • Capacity Planning
  • Production Order Management

  • Master Data (Material Master, BOM, Routing, Work Centers)

  • Knowledge of integration with SAP MM, SD, WM, QM, and APO (optional).

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience in S/4HANA PP module is an added advantage.

Nice to have:-

  • Exposure to SAP PP-PI (Production Planning for Process Industries).
  • SAP certification in PP.
