Location : HyderabadExperience : 5 + YearsEmployment Type : Full TimeSummary : We're looking for a GCP Cloud Security Engineer to lead security initiatives and enforce best practices across our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment . Key Responsibilities :Design and implement GCP security best practices across Identity and Access Management (IAM), networking, compute, and storage. Deploy and manage GCP-native security services such as Cloud Security Command Center, Cloud Armor, VPC Service Controls, Cloud Audit Logs, DLP API, and Chronicle.

Define and enforce security policies for containerized workloads (GKE/Kubernetes Engine). Work with Cloud IAM, Identity-Aware Proxy, and resource hierarchies (organizations, folders, projects) to establish secure access models. Develop and maintain security automation using tools like Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, or similar.

Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis of GCP resources. Partner with compliance teams to ensure regulatory requirements (PCI DSS, HIPAA, ISO 27001, etc.) are met within GCP environments. Lead incident response for GCP-related security events and perform root cause analysis.

Continuously evaluate emerging GCP security services and recommend improvements. Provide mentorship and guidance to DevOps and engineering teams on secure cloud practices. Familiarity with container security (GKE/Kubernetes) and serverless security (Cloud Functions, Cloud Run).

Solid understanding of cloud compliance and governance frameworks (CIS Benchmarks, NIST, ISO). Experience integrating GCP security with SIEMs like Chronicle, Splunk, or similar. Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer Certification (or willingness to achieve within 6 months).
