Job Title: GCP Cloud Network EngineerExperience Level: 4-7 YearsJob Summary:We are looking for a skilled GCP Cloud Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize network infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network architecture, security and hybrid connectivity ensuring high availability and scalability of cloud networking solutions. Key Responsibilities:4-7 Years of experience in network engineering and cloud networking.Design, configure, and manage Google Cloud VPCs, subnets, and network policies.

Implement and troubleshoot hybrid and multi-cloud networking using Cloud Interconnect, Cloud VPN, and Direct Peering. Deploy and manage load balancing solutions (HTTP(S), TCP, SSL Proxy, Internal Load Balancing). Secure cloud networks using firewall rules, IAM policies, VPC-SC, Cloud Armor, and Cloud NAT.Monitor and optimize network performance and security using Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, and Network Intelligence Center.

Support container networking for GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) and Cloud Run. Troubleshoot network issues related to routing, BGP, DNS, and latency. Collaborate with security and DevOps teams to ensure network compliance and best practices.

Document network architectures, troubleshooting procedures, and infrastructure configurations. Work with Cloud CDN, Cloud Armor, and DDoS mitigation to optimize security and content delivery. Configure and manage Google Cloud Identity-Aware Proxy (IAP) and Cloud Security Command Center (SCC).

Optimize API Gateway, Cloud Load Balancer, and Traffic Director for high availability applications. Work with SIEM solutions for network security monitoring and compliance reporting. Implement Cloud Service Mesh solutions (Istio, Traffic Director, Envoy Proxy) for microservices networking.Proficiency in BGP, TCP/IP, DNS, and network protocols.

Strong expertise in Google Cloud networking services, including VPC, Cloud Router, Cloud NAT, and Private Google Access. Experience with firewalls, security groups, and intrusion prevention systems. Hands-on experience with Cloud Interconnect, Cloud VPN, and hybrid connectivity.

Proficiency in BGP, TCP/IP, DNS, and network protocols. Strong knowledge of GCP IAM, security best practices, and network compliance frameworks. Experience with SIEM solutions and Cloud Security Command Center (SCC) is a plus.

Familiarity with Zero Trust Networking and BeyondCorp security models. Knowledge of Cloud Operations Suite (formerly Stackdriver) for network monitoring and logging. Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing cloud-based application performance.

Strong understanding of multi-cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP). Ability to analyze packet captures, latency issues, and network performance bottlenecks. GCP Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Network Engineer Certification is preferred.
