Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented PCB Layout Design Engineer specializing in Control Electronics. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in high-density multi-layer PCB layout (up to 12 layers) for power electronics and control systems. You will work closely with hardware engineers, mechanical designers, and manufacturing teams to deliver optimized PCB designs for our industrial and railway electronics products.

• Design and develop PCB layouts up to 12 layers, ensuring electrical integrity, signal integrity, thermal performance, and manufacturability.

• Translate schematic diagrams into manufacturable PCB layouts using ECAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, Mentor Graphics).

• Work with hardware teams to define placement and routing strategies considering high-speed signals, analog/digital separation, power planes, and EMI/EMC compliance.

• Perform DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFT (Design for Testability) checks, and optimize the layout for thermal and signal integrity performance.

• Collaborate with mechanical designers to ensure form factor and 3D constraints are met.

• Generate Gerber/ODB files, assembly drawings, and documentation for PCB fabrication and assembly.

• Interface with vendors and PCB manufacturers for prototyping and production.

• Support design validation, bring-up, and troubleshooting of prototype boards.
