Shift Engineer (Production - PCR)

1. Monitors production, delivery and scrap status

2. Monitors attendance and overtime

3. Operates process machines and equipment during emergency situation

4. Monitors scrap generation

5. Monitors 5S

6. Check conditions of all safety devices

7. Attends all meetings related to the performance of the process

8. To make Kaizen and Improvements related to SEQDCM .

Responsibilities / Job Summary

KPIs (Measurable parameters of the role)




  2. Initiate & leads safety, quality, productivity & other improvement activities related to his process.
  3. Investigates & analyses causes of defective works to avoid recurrence & establishes countermeasure for immediate recovery.
  4. Monitors the condition of all safety devices & ensures that the machines can be operated safety.
  5. Check & assures that machine settings & other process conditions are maintained & in conformance with the required standard.
  6. Conducts training & skill up of his subordinates.
  7. Troubleshoot all problems related to his process & provide countermeasure & corrective actions.
  8. Checks & monitors scrap generation & formulate necessary countermeasure to reduce them.
  9. Prepares report, conduct analysis, evaluation & other study related to safety, quality, productivity & other items concerning the process.
  10. Conducts statistical process control activities on his process & initiate immediate countermeasure to assure product quality.
  11. Ensures & monitors that no defective product or material will be delivered to the next process.
  12. Monitors all activities in his process conducted by other groups or outside contractor during his shift.
