Job Description:Purpose - Why does this role exist?To be a part of the Plant Engineering team for maintaining the equipment and processes so as to ensure zero accidents, zero quality incidents and zero breakdowns and to achieve the plant productivityTo support shift teams to deliver the targetsPosition reports to :  Manager – Electrical & InstrumentationPositions peer with :  Diploma EngineerPositions reporting : ITI Technicians and Contract manpowerKey Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators):Adherence to plant safety procedures and ensure Zero safety incidentsEnsure uptime of equipment> 95%Ensure 100% compliance to operation through batch portal 100% PM and Calibration complianceProcurement of spares and ensuring its 100% availabilityAdherence to budgeted costCapability building in the techniciansDocumentation updating and maintaining (IMS, legal, dept record, PM checklist etc)Critical Tasks:-Impart required training to the team membersMotivate the team to increase productivity and to achieve goalsHandling shift breakdowns, finding the root cause and eliminating it so that it will not repeat again.Carrying out the preventive maintenance activities as per scheduleCalibration of field instrument as per the schedule and whenever required.Ensuring of Minimum stock availability of Critical sparesPreparation of Power reports on daily basis and doing its analysisEnsuring 100% compliance on statutory requirements related to Electrical installationsMaintaining the documents related to PM check lists, Breakdown analysis, Power consumption report and Status of critical sparesHandling ITI technicians & getting the field work executed.Maintain necessary documents as part of the above system Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :Decision making authority (Decisions expected):Decisions related to cost optimization Decisions related to different solutionsMaintenance related decisionsEducational Background and Work Experience:Diploma in ECE or E&I with 4+ years work experienceCompetencies:Knowledge of electrical systemsKnowledge of ERP systemsUp to date with relevant statutory requirementsPlanning and coordination with relevant stakeholdersAchievement orientation, Customer centricCommunication skills
