About the Role

We are looking for a Civil Engineer who can independently manage and execute commercial real estate projects including high streets, office buildings, retail complexes, warehousing, and temporary structures.

The candidate will function as a Project Manager & Site In-Charge, coordinating with architects, structural consultants, contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Execution & Site Management


• Act as the independent project in-charge for all civil, finishing, electrical, and plumbing works.


• Interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and services drawings accurately.


• Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and timelines.


• Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality standards, and regulatory norms.

  1. Contractor & Vendor Coordination


• Coordinate with independent contractors, architects, consultants, and project stakeholders.


• Evaluate and finalize contractor quotations, BOQs, work orders, and materials.


• Negotiate pricing to ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality.

  1. Costing, BOQ, and Measurement


• Prepare, verify, and analyze BOQs, quantity measurements, and material estimates.


• Track actual consumption vs. planned quantities and report variances.


• Maintain complete cost control and ensure the project stays within budget.

  1. Quality, Finishing & Technical Supervision


• Oversee finishes, façade works, flooring, electrical layouts, plumbing lines, waterproofing, and related works.


• Conduct continuous quality checks and ensure proper workmanship.


• Resolve technical issues on-site and provide solutions proactively.

  1. Planning, Reporting & Documentation


• Prepare and track project schedules, weekly progress reports, and material consumption logs.


• Maintain site documentation, checklists, and daily progress records.


• Update management regularly on progress, challenges, and timelines.

Key Skills Required


• Strong understanding of commercial construction, RCC, steel, temporary structures, façade works, and interior finishing.


• Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings (architectural, structural, MEP).


• Expertise in BOQs, rate analysis, vendor negotiations, and cost control.


• Good command over project planning, site supervision, quality control, and contractor management.


• Problem-solving ability and capability to handle site challenges independently.


• Proficiency in MS Excel, basic AutoCAD, and project tracking tools.

• B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering


• Experience in commercial real estate projects is mandatory (high streets, office buildings, retail, warehousing preferred)
