Job Title: Lead - Data Analytics and Insights
The Purpose of This Role
This position is with Fidelity Institutional's (FI) Market Intelligence and Commercialization team. The role involves working consultatively with financial solution distribution and platform teams to understand key business challenges, analyze complex data sets, and deliver actionable insights.

Collaborating with business, product, operations, and analytics teams to design and deliver impactful research and insights.
Analyzing data and conducting research to uncover actionable findings and identify new opportunities for business growth or improve client experience.
Engaging with stakeholders and vendors to manage research projects and ensure alignment with business needs.
Building scalable solutions by leveraging data assets and partnering with innovation teams.
Participating in discussions with senior leaders to share insights and influence strategic decisions.
The Skills that are Key to this role
Technical / Behavioral
Understanding of relational and dimensional databases, with the ability to write queries using SQL or Snowflake.
Experience using Python for data analysis, including descriptive and predictive techniques to generate actionable insights.
Ability to apply advanced analytics methods such as hypothesis testing, experimentation, regression, and classification.
Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to interpret data, answer "so-what" and "what-if" questions, and recommend practical actions.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to present findings clearly to different audiences.
Ability to work collaboratively with other team, both horizontally and vertically, within the organization.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
Curiosity and eagerness to learn, with a habit of connecting insights across different projects and domains.
Willingness to lead projects from start to finish, taking ownership of outcomes.
Familiarity with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau for creating dashboards and ad hoc reports is a plus.
The Expertise We are Looking For
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative / technical field such as Data or Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, or Finance. MBA or MS or Master's degree is a plus.
3-6 years of experience generating analytical insights to drive business actions.

This effort would be instrumental in making sure the business has the most effective insights, delivered through efficient solutions that meet the current and future needs of the business.
