1. Solid understanding of powertrain architecture and function: engine block/head, cranktrain, transmission/gearbox, clutch/torque converter, Axles and Driveshafts.

2.Should possess good understanding on model verification, mass and CG checks, element quality targets, model time reduction/submodeling

3. Coding Skills in python or TC/TK would be a good addon.

Job Description

1. We are seeking for an experienced Powertrain Senior modeler with a minimum of 4-8 years of experience in FE modeling and meshing, specifically within the powertrain domain.

2. Good proficiency in FE pre-processing software (e.g., ANSA, HyperMesh, SimLab).

3. Demonstrated expertise in generating high-quality Tetra, Hex, and 2D meshes for complex geometries such as (Engine Block, Head, Cam cover, Frontcvr, Oilpan, Driveshafts, Axles etc.) , with a strong understanding of their applications and limitations.

4. Build and maintain component and assembly-level material models for steels, aluminum, cast iron, composites, and elastomers (mounts, seals).

5. Ensure model quality: geometry cleanup and defeaturing, thickness mapping, property assignment, contact setup, mass and stiffness checks, free-free modal checks, and solver deck QA.

6. Looking for a Sr modeler who have a prior experience in subsystem handling especially in Trim frame model build, hands on experience FE modeling for the Sheet metal , solid & Plastic components along with creation of 1-D connections like bolt, seam weld (SHELL Type), trim mass for NVH/ Dura domain. hands on experience in subsystem integration like frame subsystem with trims assembly like bumpers , tailor hitch & etc , hands on experience handling project & coordinate with customers , work allocation with team , ensure the quality of parts assigned to engineers & deliver to the customer
