Critical Skills to Possess:

Required Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware (SOA Suite, OSB, WebLogic, BPM, BPEL, Mediator).
  • Strong experience in Core Java, J2EE, REST/SOAP Web Services, XML, XSD, XSLT, and JSON.
  • Good understanding of integration patterns (synchronous/asynchronous messaging, pub-sub, orchestration, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Oracle Database, PL/SQL, and JDBC connections.
  • Experience with version control tools (Git, SVN) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
  • Familiarity with API Gateway, OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud), or MuleSoft is an added advantage.
  • Exposure to cloud integrations (OCI, AWS, Azure) is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Unix/Linux scripting for deployment and automation tasks.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration with functional and business teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong documentation and presentation abilities.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience in integration and Java-based development (depending on level).
  • Certifications in Oracle SOA / FMW / Java are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience

Roles and Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using Oracle Fusion Middleware components such as SOA Suite, OSB (Oracle Service Bus), and WebLogic Server.
  • Develop and maintain Java/J2EE-based integration services, APIs, and connectors for enterprise systems.
  • Configure and deploy integration flows between on-premises and cloud applications (Oracle Cloud, ERP, CRM, etc.).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical design specifications.
  • Implement error handling, logging, and monitoring mechanisms to ensure reliability and traceability of integrations.
  • Optimize and tune integration performance in high-availability environments.
  • Support migration, upgrade, and troubleshooting of existing FMW components and Java services.
  • Maintain technical documentation for integration processes, data mappings, and service configurations.
  • Ensure compliance with security, performance, and scalability standards in integration architecture.
  • Participate in code reviews, deployment planning, and production support as part of the DevOps cycle.
