Role Summary

As a Payroll Consultant – US, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing and employee data management. You'll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, benefit providers, and employees to maintain compliance with U.S. payroll legislation.

The role includes advising clients on payroll compliance, managing payroll processing (calculating wages, taxes, deductions), implementing payroll software, generating reports, ensuring adherence to federal/state laws (FLSA, IRS)

Key Responsibilities

● Client Advisory: Maintain communication with benefit providers regarding employee status and billing. Investigate and resolve employee benefit claims and payroll queries.

● Payroll Processing: Oversee end-to-end processing, including data entry, calculations, and payments.

● Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., IRS, FLSA).

● Software Management: Implement, configure, and support payroll software (e.g., Workday, ADP).

● Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot payroll issues and provide timely solutions to clients/employees.

● Training: Develop and deliver training materials for clients on payroll processes.

● Data Management: Maintain employee records and ensure timely updates. Review and validate attendance sheets for accuracy.

● Reporting & Analysis: Generate reports, analyse data, identify discrepancies, and suggest improvements. Create ad-hoc reports and update work procedures periodically.

Minimum Qualifications

● Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

● Experience: Proven experience in payroll management or consulting.

● Technical Skills: Expertise in payroll software (Workday, ADP) and strong Excel skills.

● Knowledge: Strong knowledge of US payroll regulations and tax laws.

● Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving, communication, and ability to manage multiple clients.

Preferred Skills

● Strong accounting and payroll operations knowledge.

● Experience in Employee Data Administration.

● Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

● Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹60, ₹75,000.00 per month
