Role & responsibilities

  1. Conceptual Design & Solution Creation

  2. Workspace Design: Develop innovative and functional workspace concepts (office layouts, collaborative zones, private offices) based on client briefs, integrating principles of ergonomics, well-being, and future-forward design.

  3. Product Integration: Strategically select and apply the full range of Steelcase furniture systems and products to meet the aesthetic, functional, and budgetary requirements of the client.

  4. Technical Drawing: Prepare preliminary space plans and furniture layouts.

  5. Visualization & Presentation Excellence

  6. High-Quality Rendering: Produce stunning, photo-realistic 3D renders of proposed designs using industry-standard software (e.g., SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, rendering engines).

  7. Client Presentations (PPT): Create compelling and visually impactful sales presentations (PowerPoint/Keynote) that effectively communicate the design concept, product value, and solution benefits to the client's decision-makers.

  8. Design Explanation: Clearly and confidently articulate the design choices, justification for furniture selection, and the strategic advantages of the proposed workspace solution to corporate clients and project heads.

  9. Sales Support & Client Engagement

  10. Consultative Approach: Work closely with the Sales Team to understand client budget, timeline, and strategic business goals.

  11. Revision Management: Efficiently incorporate client feedback and revisions into designs and renders to move the sales process forward quickly.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Education: Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Furniture Design, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience specializing in corporate or commercial interior design, with a focus on furniture and space planning.
  • Software Proficiency: Expert level proficiency in 3D modeling, rendering, and visualization software (e.g., V-Ray, Corona, SketchUp, AutoCAD).

Essential Skills

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal communication skills and a professional presence necessary for engaging high-value corporate clients.
  • Design Portfolio: A robust portfolio showcasing high-quality corporate workspace renders and previous design projects.
  • Product Knowledge: Ability to quickly master the specifications, configurations, and benefits of the Steelcase product catalog.
  • Sales Acumen: Understanding of the commercial sales process and a desire to contribute directly to revenue targets.
