Position Overview
The Business Analytics Senior Analyst manages HR reporting and analytics requests, ensuring data cleanliness and collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements. Utilizing data from HR systems such as Workday and ServiceNow, along with supporting data lakes, this role creates impactful reports and visualizations. Acting as a strategic advisor, they understand business needs, proposes innovative solutions, and aligns insights with organizational goals.
Required Experience & Education:
· –8 years of professional experience in HR analytics and leadership experience preferred
· Bachelor's degree in Statistics, HR, Information Systems, or related field.
· Knowledge of predictive and prescriptive analytic practices
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Tableau. Exposure to Power BI and HR technology platforms (Workday, ServiceNow, SuccessFactors, etc) is preferred.
· Proficiency in SQL and data management best practices.
Responsibilities
· Prepare and publish quarterly reports in support of HR COE's.
· Maintain tracker documentation and refresh calendars.
· Independently create and maintain Tableau dashboards and engage in knowledge sharing on best practices.
· Execute validations to ensure data integrity.
· Partner with COEs on analytics requirements and help educate the business the art of the possible.
· Conduct data pulls and cleansing to support analytics requests.
· Champion AI to enhance analytical methodologies, drive innovation in HR analytics practices, and keep the team updated with the latest technology trends.
· Propose logic enhancements and improve dashboard usability.
· Maintain reporting SOPs and documentation.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
· Strong interpersonal/relationship management skills.
· Strong time management skills.
· Develop executive level presentations and materials.
· Familiarity with AI tools to automate data analysis for projects, generating insights for stakeholders.
· Deliver accurate, complete, and timely reports with minimal supervision.
· Understand the logic behind each dashboard and be able to explain it when required.
· Collaborate with COE partners respectfully, clearly, and professionally.
· Maintain audit trails, version control, and documentation.
· Escalate blockers or risks proactively.
