Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Accountant with hands-on experience in managing day-to-day accounting operations, taxation, billing, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and project-based financial management in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain day-to-day accounting in Tally and ensure accuracy in entries.
  • Handle Accounts Payable and Receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and maintain project-wise expense and billing records.
  • Assist in preparation of GST returns, TDS filings, and income tax documents.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, ledgers, and cash flow reports.
  • Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments for billing and payments.
  • Maintain petty cash and ensure timely payments to suppliers and site teams.
  • Support management in budgeting and cost tracking.
  • Assist external auditors during audits and maintain all compliance documentation.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime and MS Excel.
  • Understanding of GST, TDS, and basic taxation compliance.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience in construction or project-based accounting preferred.

Qualifications

  • B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in construction or contracting firms.
