The OT Solutions Architect (Warehouse Automation) Contractor is a technical role that works with client's Distribution Center Engineering team to plan for, evaluate and implement industrialoperational technologies (OT) needed to improve our distribution center and yard operations in North America. You will work at the intersection of OT and IT and collaborate with other software, security, andnetwork architects to ensure solutions' adherence to client's design standards and implementindustrial equipment solutions. Technologies in scope support client's warehouse and yard operations including material handling (product receiving, put away, tracking, picking, packing, labeling, loading), warehouse maintenance operations (cleaning, monitoring) and trailer tracking technologies.

Those technologies include material handling robots, autonomous vehicles, automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), RF readers, conveyors, automated packaging and labeling systems, WCS\WES systems, Industrial Control Systems (ICS) including SCADA Software, PLCs, sensors, scanners, printers, and yard operations software. You Will:

• Create architecture designs (conceptual, logical, and physical) for the proposed technologiesensuring that those designs are scalable, fault tolerant, secure, performant and follow client'sand industry's standards.
• Represent those designs in client's Architecture Governance process.
• Oversee and assist vendor personnel in the technical setup of equipment and software forproofs of concepts (POC) and production implementations.
• Maintain documentation on existing technology setup and integrations within client'sdistribution centers, including a reusable handbook for setup of technology within newdistribution centers.
• Develop and document, in partnership with other architects, reusable patterns and standards(IT/OT network, communication protocols, security, and integrations) supporting thedeployment and operations of industrial technology within client's supply chain.

Low SensitivityYou Have:

• Bachelor of Science degree in technical field or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of complex distribution center or manufacturing operations.
• 7-10 years of hands-on experience designing, documenting, and implementing warehouse ormanufacturing automation and yard management technologies including correspondingnetwork, infrastructure, and security designs.o Understanding of Network Segmentation, the Purdue model and how IT/OT and cloudenvironments work together.
• Ability to describe a complex technical topic in simple terms to all levels of organization including top management.
• Experience working well on teams in a collaborative matrixed organization.
• Experience integrating industrial technology to the broader software ecosystem.
• Experience documenting and deploying warehouse automation standards and patterns.
• Knowledge of SCADA, DCS, and ICS communications protocols.
• Knowledge of Industrial Control Systems security architectures, cyber informed engineering,and secure communications strategies.
• Experience with network, virtualization, server, and storage infrastructures.
• Experience with printing protocols
• Ability to work remotely with travel between 10% and 30% within North America
