Role & responsibilities
- Prepare scope of work for Detail Engineering Consultant, Design equipment & document numbering system.
- Prepare work breakdown structure.
- Ensure availability on time, the Engineering deliverables and materials for construction.
- Prepare, coordinate & control schedule for issue of Engineering deliverables, Coordination with procurement group for Project purchases.
- Coordination with construction group for construction related activities
- Manage EPC contracts, Prepare Project dose out & Technical capitalization reports
- Coordinate with Engineering for preparing requisitions, provide assistance for material codification and for entry of requisitions in Procurement system
- Coordinate with Procurement for vendor bids and for placement of purchase orders.
- Coordinate with Commercial for budget linking to Purchase requisitions.
- Coordinate with Expeditors for vendor follow up for the delivery of materials as per the priority set up by Project Manager
- Coordinate with Logistics team for booking the transport for materials, To keep track of any urgent transport requirements by transport mode of ATR, prepare justification for Air freight costs for approval of Project Manager.
- Coordinate with Customs department for clearance and for forwarding the materials to construction site
- Coordinate with Accounts department for ensuring payments of Vendor invoices, Track the status of Bank guarantees by Vendors and coordinate with Procurement / Accounts for release or extension of BGs as required.
- Coordinate among Project, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Vendors, Contractors & Operations for smooth & efficient start-up & commissioning of plants.
- Project activity tracking. Weekly / monthly review meeting with peers and cross functional teams. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Preparation of Project MIS for higher management.
- Tracking for Environmental Clearance, Consent to Establish, Consent to Operate, PESO approvals and any other approvals which may be required for the project.
- Tracking project budgets and funds / Expenditure. Coordination with F&A, contractor invoicing and for asset identification and capitalization.
Work Experience:
- Must have experience in Project Management
Skills Required:
- Good communication, Interpersonal Skills & Self-motivated.
- PMP certification desirable but not mandatory.
- Willingness to travel to construction sites, fabrication sites, abroad.
- Knowledge of SAP / ARIBA is desirable
- Conversant with MS Office Skills
