Job summary

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant – QS & Estimation to be part of our Central Cost Team. The role focuses on commercial interior fitout projects, managing costs across all stages—from budgeting and estimation to billing and closure. The candidate will be responsible for preparing BOQs, cost monitoring, procurement coordination, and client communication, ensuring profitability and timely execution of projects. This role demands strong analytical, coordination, and people management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Budget Preparations: Site visits for due diligence, budgetary estimates preparations for new projects.
  • Cost Management: Cost planning and monitoring throughout the project life cycle.
  • Detailed BOQs and Tender Preparations: Prepare accurate bill of quantities based on final design ensuring compliance with specifications.
  • Client Coordination: Responsible for end-to-end client communications related to the project's commercial management.
  • Procurement Coordination: Support Procurement activities, assisting with Bill of Materials and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Variation Analysis: Prepare variation statements, identify variations, and understand item specifications.
  • Billing: Prepare and submit project bills and maintain vendor billing certification for financial closure.
  • People Management: Handle all people and their problems related to the project, both internal and external.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: QS professional with 0-3 years of experience and excellent communication & team management skills.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of market rates for interior fitout, subcontractor categories, and measurement modes.
  • Education: Diploma/Degree in relevant field of Engineering/Relevant discipline from recognized universities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP or any ERP exposure related to the Interior industry.
