Role Overview:

We are seeking a Mutual Fund Operations professional to manage the end-to-end operational processes of mutual fund transactions. This role is essential for ensuring trade accuracy, reconciliation integrity, regulatory compliance, and exceptional client service, all while optimizing internal operations in alignment with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Trade Processing

  • Execute and confirm mutual fund transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor and ensure on-time trade settlements.
  • Identify and resolve trade discrepancies.

Reconciliation

  • Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly reconciliations of fund transactions, positions, and cash.
  • Investigate reconciliation breaks and ensure resolution in coordination with internal/external teams.

Compliance Management

  • Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, SEBI, and other regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct periodic internal audits and compliance reviews.
  • Strengthen internal controls to reduce compliance risk.

Client Servicing

  • Assist clients with mutual fund transactions, account queries, and operational concerns.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client communications.
  • Build and maintain client relationships for ongoing satisfaction.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare trade confirmations, NAV updates, performance summaries, and other operational reports.
  • Maintain accurate records for transactions and regulatory needs.
  • Support regulatory filings and audits when required.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to enhance operational workflows and automation.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and implement improvements proactively.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as CFA, CAMS, or NISM Series V-A are advantageous.
  • 2+ years of experience in mutual fund operations, fund accounting, or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of mutual fund operations, SEBI regulations, and compliance frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with financial software (e.g., NSE/BSE MF platforms, MF Utility, CAMS, KFinTech).

Job Type: Full-time
