Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Dubbing Sound Engineer
to manage the recording, editing, and processing of dubbed audio tracks for films, TV shows, animations, OTT series, and other media. You will work closely with voice directors, dubbing artists, and production teams to ensure high-quality localized audio that meets both technical and creative standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain audio recording equipment and DAWs during dubbing sessions
  • Record voice-over and dubbing artists with clean, synced audio to match original picture
  • Perform dialogue editing, noise reduction, sync alignment, and lip sync corrections
  • Manage track-laying, session prep, and file organization per project requirements
  • Collaborate with language directors and artists for retakes, pronunciations, and emotion alignment
  • Mix and master dialogues to ensure clarity, loudness standards, and broadcast/OTT specs
  • Work with project coordinators to deliver audio assets within tight deadlines
  • Conduct internal QC checks to ensure all dubbed audio is clean, synced, and error-free
  • Troubleshoot audio hardware and software issues when needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in
    Pro Tools
  • Strong knowledge of
    dialogue editing, ADR workflows
    , and
    post-production mixing
  • Familiarity with
    audio specs for OTT platforms
    (Netflix, Amazon, etc.)
  • Experience working with
    dubbing scripts
    , lip-sync, and localized content
  • Ability to work in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments
  • Excellent ear for detail and strong communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in
    Audio Engineering
    ,
    Sound Design
    , or related field (preferred)

Experience Requirement -
The candidate needs to have at least 2-3 years of experience working as a sound engineer on sync dubbing projects on ProTools
