Role & responsibilities :

We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester with strong expertise in Core Java and modern UI Testing Frameworks. The ideal candidate will take end-to-end ownership of the delivery lifecycle, including analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance of large-scale, distributed applications. The role requires close collaboration with business users and technologists across the firm, ensuring robust and scalable testing solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts.
  • Perform analysis, test planning, and execution for end-to-end application delivery.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality standards.
  • Drive continuous improvements in automation processes and frameworks.
  • Provide detailed test reporting using Cucumber or similar tools.
  • Ensure alignment with agile/iterative delivery practices.
  • Work with global delivery teams and support direct user interaction when required.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of automation frameworks/tools: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, and Cucumber for reporting.
  • Proficiency in Core Java Programming with solid understanding of OOP principles and Design Patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Strong knowledge of writing Scenarios, Feature Files, and Page Objects.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
  • Exposure to agile/iterative development practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working with business users across all levels.
  • Proven ability to deliver in global, distributed team environments.

  • Prior experience in investment banking or financial services domain.
