: We are a growing organization engaged in manufacturing and supplying refractory and foundry products to leading steel industries across India.

To strengthen our marketing and business development efforts, we are looking for an experienced professional who has a proven track record and strong network in the steel plant segment, especially with Tata Steel, SAIL, Jindal, and mid-sized integrated steel plants.

About the Role
: Senior Executive – Refractory Marketing will be responsible for promoting and marketing refractory products to major and medium integrated steel plants across India.

Responsibilities
:

  • Promote and market refractory products (such as sleeves, linings, castables, etc.) to major and medium integrated steel plants across India.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key decision-makers, procurement teams, and technical departments of target customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and ensure inclusion in vendor lists and tender processes.
  • Coordinate with internal production and technical teams for customer-specific requirements and product development.
  • Prepare and submit commercial offers, handle negotiations, and close orders.
  • Regularly visit steel plants for business follow-ups, technical discussions, and customer feedback.
  • Track competitor activity and market trends to support strategic planning.

Qualifications
:

  • Graduate / Diploma in Engineering (Metallurgy / Ceramic / Mechanical) or Science / Commerce with relevant industry experience.
  • MBA in Marketing (preferred but not mandatory).

Required Skills
:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on marketing experience in refractory or allied products (foundry consumables, exothermic sleeves, castables, etc.).
  • Strong existing relationships with purchase and technical departments in major steel plants: Tata Steel, SAIL, JSW, Jindal, etc.
  • Mid-segment integrated plants across eastern and central India.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Technical understanding of refractory applications in steelmaking processes will be an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for client visits and business development.
