Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly creative and AI-savvy Video Editor to join us full-time. The ideal candidate can turn 1–2 minute clips into engaging, viral short-form videos for Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn. The role requires a mix of creativity, precision, and a deep understanding of modern editing tools—both traditional and AI-powered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit 1–2 minute short-form videos from provided raw clips into cohesive, impactful stories
  • Create compelling Reels and Shorts using stock footage, trending content, or AI-generated visuals when raw materials are unavailable
  • Use editing techniques, transitions, captions, and effects to amplify viewer engagement
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute creative video ideas
  • Rework and improve video edits based on feedback and brand requirements
  • Track viral video trends and incorporate them into new edits
  • Efficiently leverage AI tools (like InVideo, Runway ML, Veo 3, CapCut, etc.) for fast and inventive editing workflows
  • Optimize efficiency by utilizing free or trial versions of editing tools without compromising quality
  • Maintain punctual project delivery and strict adherence to deadlines

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of hands-on experience in video editing (Reels, Shorts, or similar formats)
  • Proficiency in major editing tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software
  • Deep familiarity with AI editing tools (InVideo, Runway ML, Veo 3, etc.) and the ability to use them strategically
  • Strong visual storytelling skills and understanding of social media content trends
  • Creative mindset with an eye for pacing, flow, and engagement optimization
  • Self-driven, responsible, and open to revisions and feedback
  • Ability to deliver consistently within deadlines
