Perfomance Testing

We are looking for an experienced Performance Test Engineer with hands-on expertise in Micro Focus LoadRunner to design, execute, and analyze performance testing for mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance engineering, scripting, and bottleneck analysis, ensuring systems meet scalability, reliability, and speed benchmarks.

Role and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests using LoadRunner or Performance Center.
• Identify performance test requirements by collaborating with developers, architects, and business analysts.
• Create and maintain performance test scripts for web, API, and database applications.
• Set up and manage test environments, load generators, and monitoring tools.
• Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide performance improvement recommendations.
• Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to tune applications, databases, and servers.
• Document test strategies, results, and performance baselines.
• Report findings, metrics, and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–10years of hands-on experience in performance testing using LoadRunner (VuGen, Controller, Analysis modules).
• Proficiency in scripting for Web (HTTP/HTML), Web Services (SOAP/REST), Citrix, or SAP protocols.
• Strong understanding of performance metrics (response time, throughput, hits/sec, CPU/memory utilization, etc.).
• Familiarity with monitoring and profiling tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, SiteScope, Grafana).
• Experience in test data setup, workload modeling, and performance baselining.
• Good understanding of network concepts, server configuration, and database performance tuning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JMeter, Neoload, or other performance testing tools.
• Knowledge of cloud-based performance testing (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD integration for performance testing (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell, PowerShell, JavaScript).
• Certification in LoadRunner or Performance Testing is a plus
