Job Title: New Part Development Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new parts and products using CAD software and other engineering tools

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize new part development projects

  • Conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and risk assessments to inform new part development decisions

  • Develop and test prototypes, and iterate on designs based on test results

  • Work with suppliers and manufacturers to source materials and components

  • Develop and implement testing protocols to ensure new parts meet quality and performance standards

  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth transition of new parts to production

  • Document new part development processes and results, and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field

  • 3-5+ years of experience in new part development, product design, or a related field

  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes

  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor)

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with lean manufacturing and six sigma methodologies

  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards (e.g. ISO, ASME)

  • Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40, ₹45,000.00 per month
