About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Ruby on Rails Developer with 2–3 years of
hands-on experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have a solid
understanding of backend development, APIs, hands-on experience with for front-end
work and database design, along with a good grasp of front-end basics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby on Rails code.
- Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
- Develop and maintain APIs and services for web and mobile applications.
- Optimize application for performance and scalability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and other developers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Good understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in is strongly required.
- Experience with background job processing tools like Sidekiq, and understanding of
worker-based systems
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies.
- Experience with PostgreSQL / MySQL or similar relational databases.
- Familiarity with Git version control and code collaboration workflows.
- Understanding of background jobs using Sidekiq or similar tools.
- Experience with RSpec / MiniTest for writing test cases.
- Working knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
