Job Title: RCOG MHC OBGYN Programme Manager

Department: Max Institute of Medical Education

Location: Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket

Reports To: Lead Administrator

Job Purpose

The RCOG MHC OBGYN Programme Manager will be responsible for the effective day-to-day management, coordination, and execution of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) training programme at MHC.

The role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery, growth, and compliance of the programme while driving strategic goals such as student recruitment, accreditation, and expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the RCOG MHC OBGYN Programme.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders including RCOG and associated institutes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships to enhance trainee enrolment in the programme.
  • Maintain and update the student roster and ensure data accuracy.
  • Ensure timely collection of programme fees and maintain financial oversight.
  • Lead efforts for MHC accreditation for RCOG training programmes.
  • Oversee and ensure continuous updating of E-Portfolios for students and supervisors.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between MHC and RCOG for programme-related communication and reporting.
  • Strategize and manage the roll-out of the RCOG programme across additional MHC locations.
  • Plan and manage logistics and hosting of the RCOG Part 3 exam at MHC.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Recruit 20 new students annually into the programme.
  • Successfully organize and execute the RCOG Part 3 exam.
  • Initiate at least 3 new courses annually for medical or paramedical professionals.
  • Meet or exceed targets for enrolments of RCOG-related courses.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BDS / MBBS or equivalent medical degree

Experience:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in programme management, healthcare education, or medical administration

Behavioural Skills:

  • Strong training and facilitation capabilities
  • Contingency planning and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work effectively within strict timelines and high-stakes environments

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, particularly in education and training
  • Familiarity with patient safety protocols and healthcare quality management
  • Knowledge of medical delivery systems, clinical workflows, and patient care
  • Proficiency in scientific research concepts, scheduling tools, and E-Portfolio systems
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Familiarity with healthcare training and accreditation standards

Language Proficiency:

  • English (fluent written & verbal)
  • Hindi (fluent)

Desirable Attributes

  • Prior experience working with National or International medical education bodies
  • Experience in launching or expanding educational programmes
  • Ability to travel across locations as needed
