Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Bancassurance Sales Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling insurance products through our partner bank branches. Your primary objective will be to leverage the banks customer base to generate insurance leads, close sales, and contribute to the growth of bancassurance business.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Lead Generation

  • Promote and sell various insurance products (life, health, motor, and general insurance) to bank customers.
  • Generate and follow up on leads within the banks customer base and through referrals.
  • Conduct product presentations and educate customers about insurance benefits and features.

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Identify customer needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with bank staff and customers.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address queries or concerns promptly.

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with bank branch staff to maximize cross-selling opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the banks operations and compliance teams to ensure smooth policy issuance.
  • Participate in marketing campaigns and promotional activities at bank branches.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Assist customers with filling out insurance application forms and collecting necessary documents.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines (e.g., IRDAI norms) and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales and customer data in CRM systems.

Performance & Reporting

  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall bancassurance business growth.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, leads, and conversion rates.
  • Provide market feedback and customer insights to the management.
